Gansu Dayou Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. is located in the "Gansu Yasheng Potato Industry Group Potato Technology R&D Center" park in Sanjiaocheng, Chengguan Town, Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City. It was established in November 2011 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yasheng Potato Industry Group under Gansu Agricultural Reclamation Group. There are currently 47 employees, and the company's main industries include: tissue cultivation of virus-free potato seedlings, production, acquisition, and sales of micro potatoes, original seeds, primary seeds, and commercial potatoes, as well as research and development of new varieties. With the strong support of the Yuzhong County Party Committee and Government, the company achieved an annual output value of over 80 million yuan.

1. The company vigorously develops the potato seed industry, comprehensively improves the quality level of seed potatoes, and focuses on the source of quality. In order to ensure the purity of potato varieties and improve the quality of potato varieties, the company continues to carry out standardized work such as potato renewal and rejuvenation, virus removal and purification, and virus detection, optimize the high-quality seed potato breeding system, and focus on the source of potato quality.
2. Powerful hardware facilities and equipment, strengthening technological support
(1) The 100000 level purification tissue culture center covers an area of 4800 square meters. The company has the largest tissue culture center in Gansu Province, with an annual production capacity of 30 million high-quality virus-free tissue culture seedlings and advanced "biochip" virus detection equipment.
The company's mature and advanced seed potato production technology provides strong technical support and effective quality assurance for the production of high-quality and high-yield seed potatoes. At the same time, in order to establish and improve the standardized breeding and quality monitoring system of seed potatoes, biochip virus detection has been added, so as to better and more strictly achieve potato virus detection, pathological analysis, nutritional diagnosis and other work.
(2) The high-tech intelligent greenhouse covers an area of 66000 square meters. The company has four glass intelligent greenhouses, totaling 66000 square meters. The greenhouse is equipped with automatic equipment such as a top opening window system, shading system, wet curtain fan cooling system (with significant cooling effect, which can quickly reduce the temperature to below 28 ℃ during the highest temperature in summer), sprinkler irrigation system, insulation system, heating system, distribution system, and mobile seedbed. It fully regulates many factors such as water, fertilizer, air, heat, and light, creating the best environment for potato growth, improving quality, and increasing yield. Adopting off ground cultivation mode to comprehensively prevent the occurrence of soil borne diseases in potatoes.
3. The company has established a high-quality and rich potato germplasm resource bank
1) Own high-quality potato germplasm variety - "Dayou 1" (registered), with characteristics of early maturing fresh food variety and a growth period of about 60 days. The plant height is about 45 cm, with light green leaves, blue purple corollas, flat ovate tubers, yellow skin and flesh, numerous and shallow bud eyes, and a dry matter content of 19.83%. The planting density is 250 plants/square meter, with an average tuber yield of 1.2-1.4 seeds per plant and an average yield of 320-350 seeds per square meter.
2) There are 41 other high-quality potato varieties, including Atlantic, Shapoti, Kexin 1, Burbank, Jizhangshu 12, Xingjia 2, potato potato series and Longshu series.

2. Research and development of new varieties
The company has produced and developed tissue cultivation of strawberry virus-free seedlings, lily virus-free seedlings, and vegetable seedlings, extending the production of various agricultural seedlings, and achieving new breakthroughs and achievements in variety, yield, and quality. In the later stage, we will focus on the research and development of high-yield potato varieties with independent intellectual property rights, carry out collection, preservation, excavation, and breeding innovation of potato germplasm resources, explore deep technological research such as gene breeding engineering, efficient seed production, and deep seed processing, and screen out varieties suitable for both fresh and processing in terms of size, potato type, storage tolerance, and frying color.

The company plans to build a 1500 acre high standard original seed production demonstration field in Yuzhong County, providing training and relevant technical guidance for local farmers on standardized production of potato seed potato breeding.
