Stable Development of China's Foreign Investment and Cooperation

       On the 4th, it was learned from the Ministry of Commerce that China's outward investment and cooperation will develop steadily in 2023. Statistics show that in 2023, 

the industry's outward foreign direct investment was 1041.85 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.7% (equivalent to 147.85 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 0.9%).

 Among them, the outward non-financial direct investment was 916.99 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.7% (equivalent to 130.13 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 11.4%).

 The non-financial direct investment of Chinese enterprises in the "the Belt and Road" co construction country was 224.09 billion yuan, up 28.4% year on year (equivalent to 31.8 billion dollars, up 22.6% year on year).

       In 2023, China completed a turnover of RMB 1133.88 billion in foreign contracted projects, a year-on-year increase of 8.8% (equivalent to USD 160.91 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%), and newly signed contracts amounted to RMB 1863.92 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.5% (equivalent to USD 264.51 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%). Chinese enterprises jointly built national contracting projects along the "the Belt and Road" and achieved a turnover of 930.52 billion yuan, up 9.8% year on year (equivalent to 132.05 billion dollars, up 4.8% year on year), and newly signed contracts reached 160.03 billion yuan, up 10.7% year on year (equivalent to 227.16 billion dollars, up 5.7% year on year).
