At present, the Paris Olympics are in full swing, and the popularity of the "Olympic economy" remains high. Cross border e-commerce platforms are bridging the gap between consumers and businesses with real-time, efficient, and global advantages, becoming a key springboard for countless small and medium-sized businesses to achieve global layout.
One is to build a platform for the product to go global.Cross border e-commerce platforms, with their extensive global coverage and efficient logistics networks, have built convenient channels for the circulation of domestic and international goods. They not only meet consumers' needs for "buying globally and selling globally", but also provide strong support for products to "go global".
The second is to promote the improvement of the supply chain system. Building an efficient and flexible supply chain system is the key to winning in cross-border e-commerce. As consumers' expectations for personalized products and instant services continue to rise, cross-border e-commerce supply chain networks must achieve real-time capture and analysis of consumer data, which can be fed back into product development and production processes, driving rapid response and innovation in the supply chain. Therefore, the industry is constantly promoting the establishment of a "full chain collaborative" digital supply chain system, achieving full chain digital and intelligent management from raw material procurement, production and manufacturing, logistics distribution to after-sales service.
The third is to promote innovation among e-commerce entities.Cross border e-commerce platforms use insights into global market trends, empower e-commerce entities with big data and AI, lower innovation barriers, and explore new e-commerce models such as live streaming and social networking. At the same time, relying on policy support to build an innovative ecosystem, promoting cooperation and communication among e-commerce entities, and jointly driving industry innovation and development.
As of 2024,cross-border e-commerce has been included in the Government Work Report for 11 consecutive years. After years of development, China has established 165 comprehensive pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce, continuously improving and expanding the positive list of cross-border e-commerce retail imports, innovating cross-border e-commerce customs clearance supervision, and promoting the acceleration of cross-border e-commerce.
According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached 122 trillion yuan in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%, which is 4.4 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of China's foreign trade during the same period.
I believe that as the "tentacles" of "Made in China" extend globally, the role of cross-border e-commerce in leveraging the global market will become more prominent. With more products relying on cross-border e-commerce for export, the "East Wind" of "Made in China" will continue to blow globally, injecting new vitality into the global economy.
